The Scottish Household Survey (SHS) annual report was published on 28th August. The survey, which took place in 2012, included questions on access to greenspace.
It revealed that those who regularly use their local greenspace are more likely to say that their health is good or very good when compared to those who don't use it at all. Similarly, those who never use their local greenspace are almost three times as likely to say that their health is bad or very bad when compared to as those who use it regularly.
