Community Project Fund 2017 - Open 20 March

Central Scotland Green Network has launched the Community Project Fund 2017 to support community projects working to improve their local greenspace.

The £40,000 Community Project Fund – supported by £30,000 funding from the Greggs Foundation and £10,000 from Central Scotland Green Network Trust (CSGNT) - will provide one-off grants of up to £1,000 to support small-scale greenspace initiatives and to foster community engagement in maintaining and enhancing the local environment.

Housing Minister Launches Raingardens Guide for Developers

As Scotland sees 2016 as the opportunity to focus on Innovation, Architecture and Design, Taylor Wimpey West Scotland has been working in partnership with the Scottish Government, Central Scotland Green Network Trust and academia on an innovative ’Greener Gardens’ project - that looks at how gardens of new homes can be used to contribute to green infrastructure, biodiversity and storm water management.

Transforming Landfill to Community Woodland in Glasgow

A major project to transform a landfill and recycling site into a community woodland in Glasgow received a £380,000 funding boost today.

The investment will complete phase two of the woodland project, creating a network of pathways around the site at Greenoakhill.

Funding Boost Grows Vertical Gardens in Schools

2016 CSGN Forum Delegate Survey

Following the 2016 CSGN Forum, a short survey was sent out to delegates to gain feedback on how they found the event. This information is used to help us continue to develop future events.

This year we decided to do things a little differently with a change of venue type, allocating more time for networking and holding more mobile break-out sessions and site tours. We have been very encouraged by the positive feedback we’ve been receiving informally, and so we were pleased to see that the survey feedback echoes much of what we were being told.
