Inner Forth Landscape Initiative Launch Celebrated at Parliament Event

A reception event took place in The Scottish Parliament on 21 August 2014 to mark the launch of the Inner Forth Landscape Initiative (IFLI). The £4miilion programme of work has been developed and supported by a partnership of nine organisations, with grants from the Forth Valley Lomond LEADER, Heritage Lottery Fund and CSGN Development Fund.

Attitudes to greenspace in Scotland - a review of key trends between 2004 - 2013

In August 2014, Scottish Natural Heritage published 'Attitudes to greenspace in Scotland - a review of key trends between 2004 - 2013'.

The report focuses on the 2013 findings of Scotland’s People and Nature Survey (SPANS), supported by results from other surveys. It presents comprehensive data on attitudes towards greenspace of those people living in Scotland’s urban areas, including those resident within the CSGN area.

John Muir Way Update - Route Improvements

The John Muir Way was launched in April this year during the John Muir Festival, which commemorated the centenary of the conservationist’s death. The route stretches across central Scotland from Helensburgh to Dunbar, passing through 10 access authorities on its way. There are several organisations now making further improvements to the route, as detailed in the following John Muir Way update.
