CSGN Landscape Audit


SNH has completed the first ever comprehensive mapping and analysis of the landscapes of Central Scotland. The analysis tells us around 50% of the CSGN is covered by landscape designations indicating the value people already place on the area. But action is required in some areas to improve the landscape setting of our towns and villages

CSGN Boost for Green Bridge Initiative

Green Bridge

A project which aims to build a new 'green bridge' across the M73, has been awarded a £5,000 bursary from the Central Scotland Green Network (CSGN) Ideas Fund.

The Green Bridge initiative is focused on creating a habitat and access link across the motorway between Drumpellier Country Park in North Lanarkshire and Commonhead Moss in Glasgow.
