Local Authority Concordats Signed

East Dunbartonshire and North Lanarkshire became the latest Councils to sign up to the CSGN Concordat when the Council Leaders and Chief Executives met up with CSGN Chair on 5 and 13 August respectively to sign their Concordats.

This report documents the progress of the CSGN between April 2012 to March 2013, including a review of activities which have strengthened our strategic links with key partners and raised the profile of the CSGN to a wider audience. New Funding for Community Gardens in Scotland

The Royal Horticultural Society has launched a new £100,000 fund to support community gardening across the Scotland.

Gardening groups will be able to apply for funds to make a difference in their neighbourhoods, and support and advice will be given to groups by the RHS Regional Development Team based in Edinburgh and Glasgow.
