The Clyde and Avon Valley Landscape Partnership has launched its new website, promoting a variety of projects, events, training and volunteer opportunities that celebrate the area’s distinct landscape and cultural heritage.

Projects are being delivered in partnership with 10 key partners in the area which is centred on the mid-Clyde valley, identified as an Area of Great Landscape Value (AGLV). Traditional settlements, country estates, ancient woodland, orchards and farmland in the AGLV form an unmistakeable landscape mosaic that is outstandingly rich in biodiversity as well as cultural heritage, but at risk without the care and investment of these projects.

Examples of projects relating to the CSGN include community orchards, biodiversity and volunteer training.
