RSPB Scotland currently have two tender opportunities relating to the ‘Forth Nature Counts’ and ‘Landscape Management Apprenticeships’ projects, both within the Inner Forth Landscape Initiative (IFLI).

Forth Nature Counts

RSPB Scotland wishes to contract a consultant or single agency to undertake a series of tasks over a four year period as key components of ‘Forth Nature Counts’, a project within the Inner Forth Landscape Initiative (IFLI).

The purpose of this contract (Biological Data Monitoring System Consultant) is to provide the tailored data management systems and expertise in management of biological data required to underpin the successful provision of verified biological record data to the NBN Gateway and species specific recording schemes.

You will help ensure that ‘Forth Nature Counts’ fulfils the ambitions of the IFLI Natural Heritage Working Group and IFLI partnership. The Inner Forth Landscape Initiative is funded by the National Lottery though the Heritage Lottery Fund.

Landscape Management Apprenticeships

RSPB Scotland and Falkirk Council wish to contract a service provider to deliver a high quality landscape management training and employment project at stage 3 of the Strategic Skills Pipeline as part of The Inner Forth Landscape Initiative (IFLI). This is linked to the Falkirk Jobs Programme for clients eligible for support from the National Employability Fund aged over 20 years.

The IFLI project, ‘Landscape Management Apprenticeships’ will run as ten 13 week training cycles operating between September 2014 and March 2017. This contract is a core part of IFLI project ‘Landscape Management Apprenticeships’. The Inner Forth Landscape Initiative is funded by the National Lottery though the Heritage Lottery Fund.
