Stirling & Clackmannanshire Councils are currently producing a Forestry and Woodland Strategy to set out the Councils’ vision, strategy and objectives for the future of woodlands and forestry in the area.

Your views are invited on how you think the woodlands should look over the next 40 years and what should be done so that the woodlands and forest areas can best contribute to the local economy, the environment and the quality of life for local communities and residents.

If you are a local resident, community organisation, landowner, business or visitor, with an interest in woodlands and forestry in Stirling & Clackmannanshire and would like to influence the development of the strategy, there are two ways for you to get involved.

You can either submit your views by completing the online questionnaire or come along to one of the two public drop-in sessions, where you can view the proposed Strategy in more detail, take a look at a series of maps which identify potential areas for woodland expansion and talk to those involved in the preparation of the Strategy.
