Scotland Policy Conferences
Date 9 October 2019
The timely seminar will bring together policymakers and key stakeholders to examine the future for the planning system in Scotland.
The conference follows the introduction of the Planning Bill into Parliament, with the aim of strengthening the planning system so that it contributes more to economic growth and community empowerment - after the Government’s Places, people and planning consultation and the independent review of Scotland’s planning system.
Those attending will assess the next steps in implementing planning reform, for example the potential establishment of an infrastructure levy, and look at how best to tackle the challenges to delivering this reform.
