Eddie Phillips

Councillor Eddie Phillips is Convenor for Environment at East Renfrewshire Council.  

Eddie’s dedication and hard work in the environmental sector was rewarded at the Scottish Green Awards 2010 where he was named as Environmental Campaigner of the Year for his work as Chair of Go Greener.

He is also Chair of the Glasgow & Clyde Green Network and Go Greener, an activist’s campaign group aimed at preventing climate change, protecting the environment and creating a more sustainable Scotland. He is also a member of COSLA Climate Change and Zero Waste Task Groups.
