The Landscape Institute Awards 2013 are now open for registration. Entries cost £145 plus VAT for Chartered Members and Registered Practices and are free for students.

The deadline for entries is the 30th April and full details on how to register as a Chartered Member, Registered Practice or student are available of the Landscape Institute website.

Become an OPAL Tree Buddy

Trees are a vital and much-loved part of all our lives but, as we all know, they are increasingly under threat from pests and diseases.

That’s why OPAL have teamed up with FERA and Forest Research to develop the seventh national survey on tree health.

From May, communities around the UK will be exploring their local area to find and survey local trees. As well as benefitting them, their data can help scientists to manage tree health more effectively.

And OPAL need YOU to help them inspire, engage and support these budding tree scientists by becoming an OPAL Tree Buddy.

Following on from the sucess of our 2012 Forum, we are pleased to announce that we are now accepting bookings for the 2013 CSGN Forum.

The theme of this year's event is Delivering for Nature and People and the Programme offers opportunities for delegates to get involved in the Forum throughout the day as well as hearing from our first class international speakers.

This year there will be even more opportunites to get involved with a delegate Soap Box and the opportunity to win up to £5000 for your project idea.
